Art & Soul 2013 Featured Artist Performances
Arts Council of Indianapolis

Come see the 2013 Art & Soul Featured Artists in this special lunchtime performance. The event will feature a performance by Blair Clark and Rusty Redenbacher & Mr. Kinetik.

About Blair Clark

A seasoned vocalist and recording artist, Blair is experienced in a variety of singing styles and has performed with such greats as New Orleans jazz legend, Henry Butler. Blair now performs regularly with his own band, Blair and Company. A voice teacher as well, Blair’s years of experience and work with renowned voice coach Seth Riggs (coach to Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, and Pattie LaBelle) has informed Blair’s teaching.

Blair has co-produced several CD projects in Los Angeles and has written more than a dozen songs for various recording artists and recently released his original album, “Snapshot.” Blair’s passion for music is surpassed only by his passion for community service. In memory of his sister, he has raised more than $10,000 for families in need through his non-profit organization, Friends Helping Friends.

Blair describes his music as “a fresh, eclectic musical compilation of smooth jazz and contemporary R&B with a little bit of gospel thrown in to soothe the soul.”

About Mr. Kinetik

Mr. Kinetik is an experimental songwriter, instrumentalist, producer, and audio engineer. Born into a musical family, the ultimate message in his music is one of peace and positivity. The name Kinetik was chosen out of a love for physics

and the energy of motion.  "As long as I can remember, I've moved whenever I heard music. I make music to keep track of what I feel. I make the sounds a reflection of how I am moved at the time. I believe in the music I make. It stands for who I am."

Kinteik's "Our City" was released as a featured song in the 2012 Indianapolis Super Bowl Host Committee Indy Music Project. Kinetik's latest work, Black Hole Rap, was released in 2012.

Kinetik focuses his music on self-awareness and a dedication to improving the world through well-planned action and motion.
